One of the orders was wrong, and was not able to add cheese to the sandwich

I wish I had visited the location in Southlake before it closed. But this location is a great consolation, and I'll make my way here. Great food, tea with more than lemon at your fingertips (think multiple citrus options and mint...and yummy).

It's been awhile since we have eaten here, and I am glad we decided to drive the extra mile or so. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Caesar. It was delicious. My hubby ordered the Chicken Pesto with broccoli, which was also very good.Has a good atmosphere, serves mostly spup, salad and sandwiches, but has hot meal items, as well as appetizers and desserts.

What makes a good place is the employee's then the food, both of which are excellent.

It's a nice place to go have a cup of coffee and a pastry. Good for and out of the office morning meeting. Did not try the food except for the pastry but it all look good. The service was a little slow but I expect that had to do with the fact that I was there in a lull time. The staff was polite and courteous.

This is probably in my top 5 favorite fast/casual chains of all time. I just love this place. Their menu has a nice selection and everything I’ve ever ordered here is delicious. Their toppings and condiment bar is such a nice little extra that just adds to your dining experience. The burgers are tasty, salads are fresh and filling, but my favorite menu item is by far their Mediterranean salmon and a side of sweet potato fries... so delicious. I also love their drink station. They’ve got a few great iced teas ( black currant being my favorite) along with some refreshing assortments of healthier soda options. If you are looking for a quick and tasty lunch spot with plenty of menu options, this is the place for you.

My friend and I were driving around after yoga class trying to figure out where to eat. We landed on Cafe Express. This was going to be my cheat meal for the week so I ordered the mushroom and swiss hamburger with sweet potato fries and bread pudding for dessert. The burger was bland as heck and the bread was hard. The bread pudding was almost tasteless and left a lot to be desired. I only enjoyed my sweet potato fries. I spent $17 on this cheat meal and was absolutely disappointed. I will never go back.

Favorite of mine for years! Always get the chicken deli salad. Everyone else will wish they did. 😎 Don't miss out on the packaged bread sticks at the relish bar. Best beverage is the black currant tea mixed with sweet tea. Enjoy! SW

I miss the other locations of the Cafe Express what happened they do have good food. The menu change was not a good idea

My coworkers and I happened to pass by this place while on break from attending a conference. The service was extremely slow. Extremely! We were a party of 3 and they served 2 of us after about 30 minutes of waiting. The 3rd person, who ordered a black bean burger got her meal close to 15 minutes later. This was after an employee approached her and asked if she had gotten her order yet (which clearly was a rhetorical question, I'd hoped) and stated he would check on it. He never returned so she went to the counter to ask about her order and saw the employee that approached our table in the kitchen making her burger. They hwd forgotten her order all together. There were maybe 6 or 7 other tables with people (who were already eating). So no real explanation was given for the mishap and no apology either.

I visited this restaurant during lunch. Food was great, Service was little slow, prices are little on the higher side and protions are small. There are options of health food.

Always get an excellent meal

I always get the chicken deli here. For some reason it always smells like methane in the dining room.

A once great location seemed to slowly fall apart over time. I wish it would return under better management.

DO NOT ORDER A BURGERThe burger I ordered was dryer than the Sahara. I don't know about the other food they serve here, but if it's anything like the burger I received, I would stay very far from this restaurant. I could have made a better burger, and in a shorter time than the wait I endured (probably because they kept the burger on the grill forever). Two stars because the pickle bar is nice, and good selection of drinks and sauces. But the overall vibe I got from the food was hotel room service that tries to look good but just doesn't deliver.

They ceased being open for breakfast. It had been my #1 place to go for breakfast. They also removed the Wisteria vines which used to provide shade on their outside patio. My dog and I miss going there. It used to be wonderful.

Very nice place to chat and to be around family. My daughter and I met a friend of mine there for lunch today. The guy with the white chef jacket was patient and nice to us. They didn’t have anymore bread pudding and he refund me my money. 5 minutes later he came back with bread pudding. They went out their wAy to get me some.

They have an awesome selection of tea here! Very casual and welcoming environment!

DO NOT EAT HERE EVER!!!!! They leave the food out where people can cough and sneeze on it, and that is exactly what happened to ours. A little girl was standing there while her mother was talking to the lady at the counter, and she SNEEZED RIGHT ON OUR FOOD!!!! The lady at the counter DID NOT EVEN NOTICE!!!!! They acted like it was a big imposition to make our food over, and I don't even trust that they did. I should have demanded a refund and left - I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!!!!

Clean. Fast. Healthy choices. Delicious. Order at the front and they call your order for you to pickup. I got to sit at the table and not feel pressure to leave so they can turn the table for server. The self serve condiment sealed the deal for me. Sun dried tomatoes, capers, bread straws, cornichon, roasted garlic. Oh, yeah. :)

second time trying cafe express and i’m speechless over the great customer service they have, the manager was super helpful with menu options and flavors their is, they also serve wine which is an extra star! amazing food, can’t wait to come again and try other items from the menu. 😊

Great place, huge on the inside. I love the retro softdrink machine😍😍. But when you use the directions to get there it takes to the other end of plaza.😐 had to walk so far. Wasnt in the plaza at all, it was on the end but still connected.

We especially like their home baked oatmeal raisin cookies. Others (coc chip) as well.

It was a meh experience. Not great, but bad. We ended up here on accident, we were actually looking for Cafe Brazil, but got bad directions.My wife had a waffle - which was REALLY BAD, so they swapped it out for some pancakes (for free!!!). The pancakes were legit.I had the scramble, it wasn't too bad.The coffee was mediocre.My kids made a lot of noise and no one judged us for that - which I really appreciate.
